Ok maybe this is the worst shoot that i made but who cares!
....
Trainer: Amelie De La Court Hair: Green Eyes: Brown Job: Gardener - pokècoordinator
Temper: Amelie got a cheerful, kindly temper. Usually the little thing make her smile, she love pokèmon overall and prefer the cute and puffy ones. She got a positive attitude.
Team: This are two pokèmon of her team:
Granvolt Raichu - Male
He was the first Amelie's pokèmon, his brother give Pichu to her when she was 10 and they grow up togheter. Like Amelie Granvolt's temper is kind but sometimes he looks indifferent. He loves the tea time (expecially eat cookies).
Mojambo Tangrowth - Male
The eccentric one. This guys is really odd (i know i draw him so small, he's taller two times than amelie!) but is a good boy! He wear a pair of black glasses and hide a comb in his liane. He's the classic defensive wall.
...a Raichu with a monocle and bow tie? How could I miss that?

Hi! Since we'll be facing each other in the first match, I was wondering if you could answer a few questions for me.
Like, what are your Pokémon's moves. Does you trainer have experience in contest battles. And does your Raichu have a more... uhm, aggressive side to him? (He just seems that way to me.)
Hi, sure! 1-If we must use only 4 moves well.. Raichu: Thunderbolt / Nasty plot / Double Team / Slam Tangrowth: Ancient Power / Power Whip / Ingrain / Sleep powder (by the way i hope that is more important how you use a move than the real cute/smart/beauty..etc factor, just more like the anime version)
2-Amelie know the contest battle world but she take part only in little competitions, she is not an expert just an amateur. Ah, this is very important she don't know nothing about the black tourney she come here thinking that is a normal contest with an odd theme (by the way she think that is too much creepy!)
3- Raichu... well.... i know that draw him like a big piece of elettric marshmellow so he don't look very aggressive.. uhm. Think that, this is a battle, raichu know this so he can be aggressive if the situation needed. Of curse, he isn't impulsive but is very tenacious.
Wah i'm a bit scare, Solaris and Candy are two big enemies for Amelie's pokemons

1. Since there are no contest battles in the games, I intend to use them as you would in the anime. This means the cute, beauty, cool categories, etc. go out the window as far as I'm concerned. So no worries.
2. Ah, so she's a bit clueless, huh? It's funny, so is Sandy, but in a different way. Sandy DOES know about the Black Tourney, and the whole situation about the judges being kidnapped. But when she originally came, she just wanted to bust in, beat up the bad guys, and free the hostages, just like you would in the games when you waltz into a Team Rocket building.
Due to threats and her own curiosity, Sandy decided to put off the ass-whooping, to see what the bad guys are planning. If she doesn't like what's going on though, she might just go right back to plan A and start beating up bad guys again.
So right now, Sandy is behaving as a participant, but she has no idea what exactly people are expecting of her. She currently thinks the tourney is some sort of dangerous obstacle course, and she doesn't realize that the contestants are supposed to be fighting each other as well. You could use this to your advantage. Sandy also knows next to nothing about contest battles. When she fights, she does it as if she were just in a regular battle. Sandy does not know that she's supposed to beat an opponent in a visually attractive way, and will instead just try to pummel people into submission using the brute force of her Pokémon.
Since she is a former champ, Sandy might be a bit over-confident. Another potential weakness you could exploit. She doesn't really realize that her Pokémon are no longer quite as in shape as they were during her tournament days. (They're not weak or anything, just a bit unused to fighting.)
Okay, I think I covered everything right now...
3. Ah, I thought that perhaps he had a bit of a dual-personality thing going on. That perhaps he was cute under normal circumstances, but brutal in battles (a bit like Matt's Rattata, Nami, in my comic).
Maybe you already looked up the cast page on my website, but that's where you can find more info on the personalities of Sandy's Pokémon.
Solaris is basically a relaxed dude, and he prefers not to fight. He cares deeply for his trainer and for his other team mates, even for Fang. Though he is generally relaxed, certain situations do make him anxious, such as fighting criminals. He's not scared, and his sense of justice means he wouldn't hesitate to storm in, but he is keenly aware of the dangers. That means he can't quite relax when fighting criminals. (Normal reaction, really.)
Candy has some issues with her feminine side. She still thinks of herself as an ugly little Drowzee, and she is keenly aware that Hypnos are not considered pretty Pokémon. That's why she also doesn't think of herself as being very attractive (actually, she thinks she's downright ugly), and that reflects in her behaviour. She doesn't like 'beautiful' Pokémon, though she isn't particularly jealous at heart. She also behaves like a tomboy, and fights hard in battles, making her seem particularly vicious. But she also has a gentler, sweeter side. She's sassy at heart, and tends to be a bit moody most of the time. She'll often stand aside quietly observing people. Her eyes will often reflect how much certain situations annoy her, but she generally won't act upon it. Candy does not like standing in the spotlights.
People have sometimes asked whether Sandy and Candy share a psychic bond, and the answer is: no, not really. They can't read each other's mind, nor does Sandy understand anything Candy says. They do share a very weak psychic bond on a subconscious, intuitive level. This means that they may sometimes 'simultaneously get the same idea'. What really happened was that one got the idea, and it was passed on to the other, who may then independently decide to act upon it, or not. What may also happen is that they may share sensory input. If one does not see a danger approaching from behind, while the other does, the first person may react to this danger anyway. This will make it seem as if they have eyes in the back of their head. Again, what really happened was that one unconsciously passed information to the other. Candy and Sandy may also sense each other's presence, but only within a certain radius.
I don't know if any of that is useful information, but see if there's anything there you'd like to use. And sorry about the big wall of text. I really should have put all that in the bio. XD
Don't be scared of Sandy and her Pokémon. They have plenty of weaknesses you can exploit.
I know how you feel! I'm home quite a bit myself, but I still have to spend most of my time working either on my phd, or on my main comic. I do have a comic planned out for this round, but in typical 'me-style' I went and made it huuuge. I don't think I'll be able to color it, which will certainly detract from the score.
So I'm putting all my hope in good story and snazzy inking. I had really hoped for at least one extra week, but alas. For any future rounds I might be in, I think I'll have to depend mostly on splash pages. XD
Ow, don't worry. When i start to draw i had calculated 6 page only for prolouge and pre-battle! Too much to do in few days! So for now i'm only drawing the battle pages (and i think that i will not able to ink them...) so don't worry to much (i've read your comics and i know how you're good at this job )
Good luck to you too, let's make an epic battle! xD
